The mission of metrobar is to connect the District\u2019s 8 wards through entertaining, collaborative, and authentic culture experiences built around local hospitality. We showcase DC\u2019s makers and creators with live music, DJs, painting, murals, photography, digital installations, movies, markets, fairs, food vendors, brewers, spirit makers, and beverage curators. Our focus is local, both on the products we sell and the artists we highlight, from our block, through the surrounding neighborhood, and into the greater DMV area. At metrobar we set out to create a social space that would defy convention. We love DC culture, good people, and mixing it up.<\/p>

You ask why? We ask why not? We looked at an old Metro car and saw the potential to create a space where people from all sides of the track could gather,\u00a0 relax with amazing drinks, and enjoy the vibe.<\/p>

We are located on the Metro Red Line, one block west of the skybridge from the Rhode Island Ave-Brentwood Metro to the Metropolitan Branch Trail<\/a>, and 1\/2 block north of Rhode Island Ave NE behind\u00a0The Chase at Bryant Street<\/a>. Parking is available in the Premium Parking<\/a> surface lot directly adjacent to our venue or their garage underneath.<\/p>
